eTalkup 2.4.0 is released with offline message alert and message received sound alert

On August 24 2008, there are two big events. One is that eTalkup released with its powerful v2.4.0. One is that the Beijing Olympics 2008 concludes.

eTalkup v2.4.0 enpowers user with the offline message alert. That means if your web visitor leaves an offline message on your website, you will receive an email alert from webmaster@etalkup.com. Please email to that email address if you want to opt out with your user account name and the text “Please opt me out of the offline message alert”.

Another feature switch is that we enabled the sound alert for each message you received in a conversation no matter this message is from your web visitors or another operator in your company.

V2.2 New Features

We are working hard everyday to deliver what customers need.  Every few weeks, we are going to have a new version.  The new version will automatically update once you open the console.

For this new version, we changed the operator logo color to be more prominent, you can now see, online (green), busy (red) and away (yellow).  Another feature many customers want are to show the pages that visitors are visiting and referring page (like search engine, etc).  One cool feature is that you can now change audio device for the Voice chat (VOIP), be any Microphone or headset you like.

New Features of Operator Console

On May 25, eTalkup released new operator console with following features. We are open to any feedback to deliver better user experience.

Multiple Language Chatting:  eTalkup console are now fully support multiple Language for IM chatting. You can use any language your want besides English.
File Transfer: eTalkup now support file transfer between web visitor and operator. This brings huge convenience for information sharing.
Icon alert option: Users can use a flashing system tray icon to indicate visitor coming or new message received event. If you don’t like the popup balloons as visitor alert notification and prefer a less intrusive way, this option is for you.
New Chatting Button: Please login etalkup and check the new button options. If you don’t like current chatting button, there is chance to change to a more beautiful one.

eTalkup operator console is released with a new version

On May 18, we released a new version of eTalkup console. Please go to the our website http://www.etalkup.com to download the new operator console. If you are an existing customer, you would use our automatic upgrade to get the new version.

In this version, the operator could track the web vistor’s visiting history on the website. Just right click a web visitor to view this visitor’s visiting history. The visitor history dialog tracks the web visitor on which webpage the visitor visited, how long the visitor stays in that page, the next page the visitor jump, and on which webpage the visitor left the website.

eTalkup new version allows customizable routing rules.

In May 4th, we released a new version of eTalkup, which allows our customer to disable and enable automatic routing rules. With the automatic routing enabled, the conversation request to an offline operator will be redirected to an online operator in the company. On the other hand, the automatic routing rules can be disable. In this case, the coversation request to an offline operator will prompt the user to leave an offline message to this specific operator.
